Pass It On!

I stole this from my friend, Cassie who stole it from her friend Amanda. I thought this was a fun idea! I'm always making things, so why not make something for one of you wonderful people!

I promise to send something hand-made to the first five peope who leave a comment here. You must in turn post this on your blog and send something YOU make to the first five people who comment on your post. The rules are: the item has to be HANDMADE and must be sent to the five people sometime in 2011. So do it!!!

Also send me an e-mail with your address so I can mail it to you! There's nothing better than getting a surprise package in the mail right?! My e-mail is jocelynsingleton@yahoo.com

Corn Husk Wreath

I went to a ward activity where everyone brought holiday crafts that they had made. I saw this wreath that Melonie did, and begged her for instructions. Mine didn't turn out quite as pretty as hers, but here it is in all its glory!

Pillows for the Sweet Retreat

The women on my mom's side of the family have an annual Sweet Retreat where we eat food, make crafts and socialize. This year I am helping with a throw pillow craft. I made three different pillows and I'll show whoever wants to how to make them. They're pretty simple, and I've received numerous compliments on them.

Corsage for Jake's Homecoming Date

My brother Jake completely made my day when he called and asked if I would make the corsage for his Homecoming date. Of course I agreed! After I hung up, I realized it had been awhile since I had made one, and suddenly I was a little nervous. But after some research, and a couple calls to some gals who had experience, I felt up to the task. I had a lot of fun shopping with Jake who handpicked the flowers and bracelet that would make up the corsage. I think it turned out beautifully!

Washcloth Duckies

I found this great idea for washcloth duckies from Martha Stewart's website. They have sponges inside the body, so you could lather up and play at the same time! They turn out so cute! Such a fun idea for baby showers or young children! I have no real use for them, but I like them so much I want to make a whole family of them!
