Combo Print #1

This print was made using 3 printmaking techniques. I used hard ground (scratching through a ground), soft ground (pressing a texture into a soft ground), and dry point (carving directly into the copper plate. For this assignment we also had to make two identical prints, which is harder than I thought it would be.

Round Centerpiece

The assignment for this flower arranging lab was to create a round centerpiece with ribbon accents. Although I got to pick the color of the flower and the ribbon, I did not get to pick what kind of flower and greenery was used. I'm getting sick of daisies, but I suppose it doesn't matter what I think :-)

Wrist Corsage

Here is a first attempt at a wrist corsage. I finally got to pick my own flowers (within the carnation variety) so I didn't get stuck with colors I didn't like or flowers that were looking a little sad. If we ever do another one in class there are a few things I will try differently.

Final Soda Bottle Packaging

This is the final product for my soda bottle packaging! I need to get some more professional photos taken but these will do for now.

First Arrangement

This is my very first arrangement! I need to start volunteering to get the flowers for my group so that I don't always get stuck with pink and purple flowers. Overall, I'm happy with it and now I have a cute little arrangement to bring some fresh spring air into my house that's surrounded by snow!

Soda Bottle Project

In my Graphic Design class we've been working on coming up with new packaging for some soda bottles. This is still a work in progress, but here is the general idea thus far.

Second Set of Prints

These prints got sort of rushed, so I don't like the actual images much. The teacher wasn't grading our images fortunately, she only looked at our technique.

Corsage #2!

My second corsage! I raced to the ribbon rack at the beginning of class so I wouldn't get stuck with orange ribbon again!

Children's Clothing Construction

I took a Children's Clothing Construction class last semester and made some really cute clothes! I don't know that it's necessarily any cheaper to make the clothes vs. buying them. I would never make the dress again, but the pants and onsie are no big deal.
